"Well, why don't we talk more about ice! As you've seen, ice comes in many different shapes, forms, sizes, and colours. Some ice is blue like glacier ice, while other ice is clear like a thin icicle. The denser the ice is, the more blue it appears. In some cases ice creates an obstacle for travelers; icebergs have been known to destroy ships like the 'unsinkable' Titanic, and many car accidents are caused by icy roads. On the other hand ice can create paths for travelers as well when people make ice roads allowing vehicles to cross lakes and oceans. It's also used for sports and recreation, like skating and ice sculpturing." |
